10/10 breakfast experience! So many amazing dishes to choose from. The chorizo bowl was loaded with tons of hash browns, veggies, and savory chorizo. The Lupita burrito was packed full of perfectly tender meat. Tons of seating inside and service was quick, I'll definitely be back soon!

The Babe's eggs Benedict was on another level. Never had anything like it before. Carnitas on jalapeno cheddar cornbread with cajun hollandaise and hash browns was a brilliant combination. Drinks are kinda meh. This place can get insanely crowded especially on a Vikings game day. There isn't really a waiting area and they don't phone you. They have a speaker that they call your name on that does play outside the building as well. It can get very loud inside the restaurant. Service was fast but they do try to rush you out to get the next person seated. Can't complain. They got me seated in 25 minutes at peak hour with like 20 people in front of me (their estimate was also pretty accurate to the minute). The logistics of this place is pretty impressive.

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend. The place was packed but the employees are super efficient and we were seated quickly. The menu has so many options to choose from. Our server made suggestion and the dishes were excellent. We were served quickly and checked in frequently. Lots of stuff in the wall to look at and read. Save room for dessert or take some to go. The desserts are amazing.

Wow! Great food, cool vibe and great service. It was very busy, but only a short 5 minute wait. The specialty coffees were very high quality. We had a mocha and a salted caramel mocha. We shared an apple cinnamon roll and it was amazing. Soft and light, but it is a big roll! We ordered Chillaquiles Rojo and a Hog Heaven BK sandwich with hash browns. Everything was delicious. We say in a booth and found it easy to talk even though it was busy. Definitely one of the best experiences in the Twin Cities.

Visiting Minneapolis and so happy I found the Hen House. Food was amazing, likely the best biscuit I’ve ever eaten and gravy was great. Fun atmosphere and terrific staff. Recommend for brunch as well; menu has something for everyone. They serve Coke products if that matters to you (I’m a Diet Coke loyalist). The dessert case is something I would have loved to have time to explore; everything looked delicious. If ever in the area will make it a MUST visit.

I've eaten here many times and all experiences have been perfect breakfast diner experiences. Service is fast and attentive. Food comes out lighting speed and fresh made to order. It's not too loud. It is downtown, so it can get very busy and a line to get a table depending on which events are in town. Hash browns are crispy, buttery and delicious. Eggs taste like high quality eggs. Hollandaise sauce is fresh and perfect consistency. Chicken fried steak isn't greasy and the gravy goes perfectly with the moist buscuit. I know I'll keep going to this restaurant for years to come.

I came around 10 on Sunday morning and it happened to be a game day. Holy cow this place was packed!! I was not prepared for the amount of folks waiting outside. Luckily I was a solo dinner and got a seat right away at the bar. The server recommended Babe's Eggs Benedict (jalapeño cheddar cornbread, pork carn vith cajun hollandaise and hash browns) so that what I went with plus fresh OJ. When I got my meal he set down a bottle of local hot sauce and said it paired great with the dish. IT WAS AMAZING!! Probably the best eggs Benedict of my entire life… it was sweet, savory and spicy and hit all the taste bud receptors! The fresh OJ was also phenomenal. By the time I finished the line for a table had gone down considerably, so seems like they are really good a getting folks through quickly! 10/10!!

Stopped in at the Hen House for breakfast downtown Minneapolis and it did not disappoint! Great vibes, fast service, and the food was outstanding! Got the Babe's Benedict and it was so flavorful. Absolute bomb! Wife got the avocado toast and it was incredible. The coffee was strong, and everything came out hot and fresh. Staff was super friendly too. Definitely my new go-to breakfast spot when I’m in the area!
